There is a handwritten note on the back of the postcard stating that the image was produced on May 3rd 1924 and that the Post Mill was “Pulled down soon after.” A duplicate copy of this postcard, now disposed of, included a handwritten stating “This is my Brother’s mill but has now disappeared” signed by Mr W. Pope.
