Constructed in the late 18th century near to an older tower mill, which was demolished some time in the 19th century. The later mill continued working until c 1885, after which the machinery was removed. The building was used as a joiner's shop and then fell derelict. It later became a garage, a glass engraving business until 1990, and after this a house.
