Heritage Partners & Corporate Friends

We want to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with organisations that share our vision. We offer bespoke schemes to cater for the unique needs of large and small organisations who wish to support us. In return, we provide specialist archival assistance and expert advice, use of our facilities, unrestricted access to our collections and a wide range of benefits.

The Heritage Partnership and Corporate Friendship schemes are open to all organisations – charitable, commercial and academic, large and small, heritage-related or otherwise.

In return for your continuing financial support, we offer:

  • Archival skills and mill research expertise provided by our talented team of staff and volunteers.
  • Membership of our network of individuals and organisations with milling connections.
  • Unrestricted access to our unique library and archive collections.
  • The opportunity of using our site to display your own archive. See hosted archives.

WHO ARE OUR HERITAGE PARTNERS AND CORPORATE FRIENDS?

In addition to the generous support of a number of mills, whose information can be viewed in the featured mills section, we are grateful to a range of organisations for their donations. See the list of Heritage Partners and Corporate Friends.

REACHING BEYOND THE UK

We are not limited to the UK. Our collections and interests reflect our global significance as a centre of excellence in the history of milling. Traditional mills and their modern successors, as well as the uses of wind and water power, stretch back in time and around the world. This means that there are opportunities for mutual support with overseas bodies and we welcome international collaboration.

Our range and wealth of resources, skills and facilities appeal to a wide variety of organisations for many different reasons. Our brochure offers some examples, but there are many others.

Please get in touch to discuss how we could create a bespoke package ideal for your unique organisation. Contact us to find out more (ask to speak to Liz Bartram).

We are a member of the Fundraising Standards Board and comply with its recommendations: see our Fundraising Promise.
