As an entirely voluntary body, we need and appreciate your support. We have no institutional or government backing, so we have to cover all the costs of storage and providing public access ourselves. The trustees have contributed a great deal, but running an archive is expensive! Please help if you can.

Regular public support is a major influence on grant-giving bodies, who like to feel that their grants echo public interest. Regular donations by many people are the best way of signalling that interest and guaranteeing the long-term success of the Mills Archive. Please consider joining the Friends of the Mills Archive, a group that is now 200 strong, to underline your backing for our charity and its work. Although regular donations via the Friends are vital, single donations are also very welcome.

We are a member of the Fundraising Standards Board and comply with its recommendations. To read our Fundraising Promise, click here.
