The Second Battle of Agincourt

25th October 2025 marked the 610th anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt. During this particular battle English and Welsh soldiers defeated French forces during the Hundred Years’ War, involving King Henry V of England, and Wales, against Charles VI of France, commanded by the Constable Charles d’Albret and various French noblemen. The battle is most notable for the use of the English longbow, which were used by the English soldiers in very high numbers. The battle has been immortalised in various literature, such as William Shakespeare’s Henry V play.
